My first dog appeared in 1974 years. It was puppy Great mastiff. Initially I made some mistakes in breeding. My dog and I had to correct it. My efforts were crowned with success. In two years my little puppy turned into excellent dog. My Great Dane got many prizes at dog shows. At that time I made the acquaintance with many skilled cynologists, who helped me better to know about dog-breeding and to understand the advantages and disadvantages. While visiting different dog shows I paid attention to funny dogs. These dogs were poodles. But I could not imagine that I would be carried away on this breed. After loosing my first dog, my house became “empty”.

I could not get a new big dog because I moved on to the centre of the city. It was push to get a caniche moyen. My experience and my knowledge helped me to choose a new puppy and this choice was really successful.

Chary turned out to be an excellent dog with wonderful steady character. (Champion of Russian, Finland, Estonia). He became remarkable sire. And my Chary has innocent pedigree (minimum faults, maximum advantages). My first experience of breeding was successful because I consulted with many skilled cynologists/ who helped me to find suitable math for my Chary (closely-related breeding). I was absolutely right ones again. The daughter of Chary achieved more outstanding results than Chary, she won titles CH INT, RUS, FIN, EST, BLG, CL and she became an excellent sire.

Since 1994 I turn out my hobby to a professional business. In the poodle-club “Color” I studied the basis of selective breeding. At the same time I learned to clip the poodles-and opened this talent in myself. In 1998 I have officially registered my breeding nursery Manifique D’Argeant. The principle of the breeding nursery rests on the linear breeding. Choosing the math for my dog Tilsy I came along with remarkable woman-Aino Uljas – breeder from Finland. Our friendship last till present moment. The selective breeding gave excellent results. The result of our cooperation was getting the puppies, which gave me synthesis of dog’s advantages of my and her breeding nursery (my dogs inherited the excellent heads from her dogs in one’s turn - her dogs inherited the mobility from my dogs) As an example of our cooperation are Manifique D’Argeant Dominic Beauty Fleure and Manifique D’Argeant Dandy Flash, these dogs became International Champions, Champions of seven countries. But the main point is that these dogs their ancestors are splendid sire. The puppies take part in dog shows in Russian and another countries.

I would like to caniche moyen to improve in future and I hope that I contributed some part to this business.
